The big news on the military front has been the condition at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC. It is a mess, and our soldiers, airman, marines, and sailors deserve much better.

When you look at the failure of not only this administration, but past administrations in keeping their word to the military folks who have seen their pension shrink, and their responsibilities grow, it’s no surprise their medical facilities are desperate need of attention.

It is about time the attention be paid to their living conditions as well, and less time dedicated to what happened at Abu Graib. These guys play for our team, and many have paid the ultimate sacrifice. They deserve better. They will get better now that the cat is out of the bag.

I see where high ranking military brass was made to fall on the sword by accepting the blame of the condition at Walter Reed.

I wonder whose butts they are really saving?

That’s how I see It!
