Everyone I run into tells me about their insurance woes. Health
insurance, home insurance, car insurance, they are all going through
the roof? What’s the deal here?
Will we be able to afford coverage in the future? What happens if
the state is hit with another catastrophic hurricane? Predictions
are already coming in, and they say it will be an active season for
storms.
I do not subscribe to what the state has done in regards to the
insurance issue. Sounds good at the first glance, but it will soon
sour of that big storm hits, we would all be liable for the damages.
I do not live on the shore, I know in case of disaster, the coast
line is the first to pay. I do believe that if you decide to make
the shore your home, you need to pay the insurance costs, instead of
making us Joe and Molly Sixpacks carry the burden for you. It’s not
fair.
The Democrats win in November is just the tip of the iceberg. The
win in both chambers of Congress tells me people are fed up, and are
looking in a different direction for answers. Socialism is right
around the corner, health care is next on the docket. It won’t be
better, but it will at least be affordable, and to most people, I
think that is what matters.
That’s how I see it!
