GLENN: Okay. So
James Hanson, when Robert F. Kennedy was on the show and he
said there's a huge difference between environmental groups
that only care about people and care about the planet and
those big businesses. Okay. All right. James Hanson, the guy
that -- the guy that they hold out as the NASA
whistleblower, the guy everybody wants to shut up in the
Bush administration, the guy with the credibility on global
warming, he's received $720,000 from George Soros. This is
according to Investors Business Daily. Not exactly the
Weekly World News. George Soros is not only funding groups
like moveon.org but he paid $720,000 to James Hanson.
Now, this is just for legal and media advice. $720,000 for
legal and media advice? Wow, that's a sweetheart deal, huh?
STU: Correct me if I'm wrong, Glenn. I haven't done math in
a while. I don't have children that are college age, but
couldn't he get an entire legal degree with $720,000 several
times over? How much education did this guy get?

The Soros Threat To Democracy
In this exclusive series, Investors Business Daily
takes a look at George Soros, MoveOn.org and the
impact they're having on the Democratic Party and
American politics.

GLENN: I don't know.
STU: He must really know the law.
GLENN: That's a lot. That's a lot. The immigration rallies
across the country in 2006, how did those start? Do you
remember? How did those start? This according to Investors
Business Daily. How did the immigration rallies begin all
across the country? Stu, you remember?
STU: Of course I remember, Glenn.
GLENN: How did it happen?
STU: There was this one lone voice, a Spanish radio talk
show host -- or excuse me, a person who's speaking Spanish,
and he wasn't from Spain. But he was speaking Spanish, and
he started complaining about the injustices against the
undocumented employees, and these undocumented employees
began to realize that this evil administration and the
hatred of the white man was what was keeping them down all
this time. And they rose up and they formed large rallies
that we saw on the news every nine seconds, which is really
half the reason that the country actually wound up caring
about immigration law in the first place. So to me they kind
of backfired, but --
GLENN: Ooh, sorry.
STU: This isn't it?
GLENN: That's not it. According to Investors Business Daily,
OSI, which is the Soros philanthropy group, they help things
like moveon.org. Yes, moveon.org, going to help children
walk and Christopher Reeve. If John Kerry would have been
President, moveon.org would have made sure that John Edwards
made Christopher Reeve walk, but now that the evil George
Bush administration is in there, Dick Cheney went over at
night and killed Superman in his sleep. Superman was saying,
I cannot only walk, I can fly. No, help me up! And then Dick
Cheney... choked him to death. Damn him.
According to Investors Business Daily, Soros' OSI had muscle
in the immigration rally, $17 million in their justice fund.
The fund lists 19 projects in 2006, one of them vaguely
described involvement in the immigration rallies. Another
project funded illegal immigrant activist groups for court
cases. This guy is orchestrating what's going on. This guy
is responsible for a lot of the news that you see. You think
you control your own destiny? Politically speaking? I
wonder. By the way, just a quick note. Thanks, John McCain,
you're the best.
Last year's Supreme Court ruling abolishing special military
commissions for terrorists at Guantanamo, it was a Soros
project. OSI gave support to Georgetown lawyers in 2006 to
win Hamden versus Rumsfeld for the terrorists. Soros paid
for it.
You know, I -- is it just me that wonders how this country
can be going down the path that it is? Have you ever
wondered, have you ever wondered? You look at the things
that are going on and you're like, this doesn't make any
sense. This isn't what we want. This isn't what we asked
for. This isn't what we hired these guys for. They lose
their soul, they get to Washington, they betray us, they
betray themselves, they betray their own values? You look at
the news of the day and you're like, but this doesn't make
sense! How is this possibly happening? A guy called up just
a little while ago and said, Glenn, how can this happen? I
mean, here we are in so much trouble economically and have
you asked yourself this? Why is it that everybody, everybody
is talking about universal healthcare? How is that even
possible? We can't afford what we've got.
In 2016 have you heard the drumbeat that nobody listens to
and nobody will ever fix, have you heard the drumbeat of
Social Security, Medicare, medicine case going to collapse
by 2016, that it can't survive, by 2016 it collapses? How is
anyone now suggesting that we add on top of it universal
healthcare?
