GLENN: Now, I want to play, I want to play one thing for you and you've listened to this program for, you know, more than three days. Well, if it's been the last three days, you know. You know I've been on Iran thing before we went into Iraq. I have been all over these guys and done my homework for years on who President Tom is, what his religious structure is, how the power structure works over there, what their economic structure is over there, what the people on the ground believe, where his friends are, where his foes are, why the people who are more conservative than him don't like him. I mean, I know this one inside and out, but I want to talk to you, and maybe I only reach a handful of people, and that's okay. But I'm going to talk to you now about not what I know in my head but what I felt yesterday in my gut because I've never felt anything like it than when I watched Ahmadinejad yesterday on television from the UN. I've seen this guy's speeches. I've watched his speeches translated for me over in the Middle East. I've seen this guy a hundred times. I've never felt this. First of all, start with just a real quick clip. This is something that he gives in all of his speeches but it's always been at the end. Now he has moved it from the end to the very beginning. This guy is sending us a message by leading with this. He's leading with this message. It is the most important message -- and we talked about it yesterday. So I won't bore you again. It's the most important message that he has to say.

AHMADINEJAD: In the name of God, a compassionate and a merciful. 0 God, hasten the arrival of Imam al-Mahdi and grant him good health and victory.

GLENN: Okay, just real quick in 10 seconds, that's the Mead, the Army of the Mead, that's al-Sadr's Army. That's the scriptural for Shiite Muslim sects. Some of them, they believe the 12th Imam is going to come back. I believe the way it's structured, I mean, they are looking for what we believe as Christians is the antichrist. This is a very bad dude they're hastening. The way they hasten him, he can only come when there's massive bloodshed and they believe they're in the tribulation period and so bring it on because the Mead is going to vanquish all those who stand against Islam. He'll give you a chance. He can either submit or you'll be beheaded. If any of that sounds familiar, God bless you. If not, great. Warning, that's what he's putting out at the lead of his speech.

Then he followed with this, and I want you to listen to this carefully. Listen to what he's saying here.

AHMADINEJAD: Dear friends and colleagues, as you are all aware, mankind is currently facing important numerous and diverse challenges, and I will refer to some of them. One, organized attempts to destroy the institution of family and to weaken the status of women. Family is the most sacred and valuable human institution that serves as the center of the purest mutual love and affection amongst mothers, others and children. And is a safe environment from the nurturing of human generations and of fertile ground for the blossoming of talents and compassion. This institution has always been respected by all people's religions and cultures. Today we are witnessing an organized invasion by the enemies of humanity and plunderers to destroy this noble institution that is targeted by promoting lewdness, violence, and by breaking the boundaries of chastity and decency. The precious existence of women as the manifestation of divine beauty and as the peak of kindness, perfection and purity has been the target of heavy exploitation in recent decades by the holders of power and the owners of media and wealth. In some societies this beloved human has been reduced to a mere instrument of propensity.

GLENN: Stop, I don't think you need to hear anymore. First let me, let me ask you this question. Do you disagree with anything he just said? Do you disagree with a word he just said? The family is under attack. The sanctity and the beauty of women and our children is under attack, and it's under attack for money. It's under attack in the media. If Ronald Reagan gave that speech, you would say he's right. If Pope John Paul gave that speech, you would say he's right. If Ahmadinejad gives that speech, you'd say he's right. If you are in the Middle East and you are an extremist, you are dead set in your religion and you believe that the great Satan exists, that is not something that you should blow off. We are the great Satan. Israel is the little Satan. They mean it in the same way we mean the antichrist. If you are a religious person and you see him, you see him speaking universal truth: Family is fundamental, it's the basic building block and it is under attack, and you know he's right. He is speaking directly to those fundamentalists all over the world now and he's pointing his finger to us and these are the ones that are doing it. Satan is here. And they are destroying the family.

If you are a religious person of any faith, you know that the family is the basic fundamental building block of the entire universe. Everything comes from the family. If you break apart the family, everything disintegrates. The family is under attack.

I'll point out just a real quick fact that this is a man who is funding children, giving money to martyrs to blow themselves up. This is a man who is stoning women to death to make sure that they stay chaste. If you show your hair in public in Iran, you will be flogged.

I showed pictures on the TV show last night of guys who had been flogged. They were flogged because they were homosexuals. They were flogged so unbelievably that the pictures I showed on TV were 30 days after the flogging and they looked fresh. Now, those are the facts.

Let me speak to maybe five people in the audience. I've never felt anything like it. I watched his speech last night and I heard his message. I felt his message. I heard his message with different ears, and I can only speak for me. I have never felt that before. This guy is evil. This is not the kind of evil that we see very often. This is not the same kind of evil -- I have told you before this guy is evil, man, this guy is just real trouble, this guy is Hitler. This guy, this guy is doing the work of evil beyond your wildest imagination. For anyone who has ears, please listen to me. You must not dismiss him. You can say all you want: It's just Iran; what can they possibly do. The family is the strongest thing in the universe. It is the most important thing in the universe. And it is under attack. And in this country and all over the world it is falling apart. If the fundamental understanding of the family can call apart, believe me little old Iran can cause big bad America some real problems. We are not dealing with just the power of man here and I know this puts me on lunatic fringe, I know this is going to be in context is going to be -- oh, look, Glenn's crazy, oh, boy. That's fine. That's fine. And maybe I am, but I will tell you I have never -- the man made my handshake. I watched that and I was sitting in Chris' office and I said, oh, my gosh, Chris, you have to hear this. And he was like, what? It made my hand shake. That speech hit me internally in a place and in a way I have never felt before. Please, America, please don't dismiss this man. Please don't dismiss him.
