GLENN: Let me go
to Stu now who's down at the United Nations. Hi, Stu.
STU: Hey, Glenn, how are you?
GLENN: Good, how are you?
STU: Good. I'm walking down the protest corridor right now.
It's very exciting.
GLENN: It sounds great.
STU: Yeah, can you hear the speaker in the background?
GLENN: Yeah, what is he talking about?

This photo is completely unrelated to this
transcript. |
STU: I have yet to find that out. There appears to be,
shockingly enough, several protests going on at the same
time right next to each other.
GLENN: Yeah. So you don't really --
STU: This one is -- hang on, I'll getting it now. Yes, they
are chanting, "Arrest Bush."
GLENN: Arrest Bush, that would be the one that I would
target in that building is George Bush. Yes, that would be
the one.
STU: Yes, when you've got leaders from every country in the
world including several terrorist states, you want to
definitely go after the President of the America.
GLENN: Yeah, that's the one you would go after.
STU: Glenn, lots of really good looking people down here. I
tell you, this is not a smelly crowd at all.
GLENN: Really?
STU: Yeah, there's no pungent odor coming from that side of
the protest.
GLENN: Stu, if you just, if you just looked at the armpit
region or the leg region and then took a deep breath, is
there any chance you might think that you weren't in New
York but you were in France?
STU: I would say that there are small forests coming out of
some underarms.
GLENN: Yes, some underarms. Okay, well, it sounds fantastic.
Have you seen any anti-Ahmadinejad?
STU: There are a few people are saying that Ahmadinejad
equals war and terror. However I would say that the, at this
particular location the crowd of "Arrest Bush, veterans for
peace," the exact same guy we talked about yesterday that
has the big orange sign that says Bush is worse than
Ahmadinejad.
GLENN: You should go meet him. You should go meet him. I saw
you yesterday.
STU: It's impossible to have a job and do what he's doing.
GLENN: Stu, the other question is how many people are there?
STU: Hmmm. Hold on. I'm just a little -- oh, wait, we've got
a Ron Paul for President section back there.
GLENN: A Ron Paul for President sign, huh?
STU: Yeah, there's two people with Ron Paul for President
signs. I'd say that there's probably maybe 1,000, 500.
GLENN: Well, it sounds really exciting. I wish I were there.
STU: Doesn't this voice just sound soothing?
GLENN: She does, she does. Stu, I'm going to check with you
again. See if you can find another protest. See if you can
find anyone who's against, oh, I don't know, Ahmadinejad
because he talked about killing homosexuals yesterday.
Anybody from the National Organization of Women who would be
out there, of course, because he said women are free and
great and there's nothing better for women than his Islamic
state yesterday. See if you find somebody from the National
Organization of Women. I'll bet you there are people in that
crowd from the National Organization of Women right now.
STU: Oh, I would be stunned if there were a couple of
members floating around.
GLENN: Thanks a lot, Stu, talk to you in a minute.
Oh, what a nightmare. Dan, does it ever drive you crazy that
you live in this city?
DAN: Thankfully I don't actually live here but it does drive
me crazy that I do have to come here every day.
GLENN: I was driving in this morning and Adam was with me
and I'm driving in and Adam just says, I hate this city.
It's really, it's insane.
DAN: It's insane and it just makes you angry. Just, you
know, dealing with all the people.
GLENN: Craziness. You are so lucky if you are not living
anywhere in the Tri-State area. God bless you.
