Glenn Beck discusses 'The Prefect Storm'

Notes on Glenn's Monologue: August 22, 2006

  • I’ve been throwing a lot of scenario’s at you lately, and if any or all of them end up coming to fruition, we are in for some very unstable times….sounds fun, doesn’t it?

  • I thought I’d break it down for you into categories---I like to call it my ‘Perfect Storm’ checklist, if you will.

  • There’s a lot of stuff that all has to happen for the worst case scenario to take place. I don’ t think if only 1 or a couple of these things happen, that it necessarily spells doom---but if they all keep happening in a domino sort of effect…

  • It will create the ‘perfect storm’ of situations that has so many things working against us.

  • First up on the Perfect Storm list, are those wacky Kurds.

  • They seem to be trying to set up an independent state---they think they own part of Iran and Turkey.

  • So those wacky Kurds are now arming themselves—and Iran is trying to take out Kurdish military bases.

  • Sounds kind of familiar doesn’t it?

  • Iran’s going to send in the usual---suicide bombers—to try and take out as many Kurds as possible.

  • So there is #1---Those wacky Kurds fighting it out with Iran and Turkey, creating even more instability...

  • Next up is the tropical paradise of Lebanon. That’s right, Luxurious Lebanon is in serious trouble. That’s because Hezbollah is building strength, and I believe Lebanon will soon be attacked by Hezbollah.

  • If Hezbollah takes control of Lebanon? Look out, they will be on their way to legitimacy...

  • So that’s #2 in the perfect storm, Luxurious Lebanon. Can they fight off Hezbollah?

  • Next on the checklist are those fighting Hezbollah’s. Yup, not only are they going after Lebanon, but they have unwittingly neutralized Osama Bin Laden for the time being. He’s on the sidelines.

  • Why? The big difference between Hezbollah and Al Qaida is that Hezbollah wants to be legitimate---they want to be an actual country---whereas Al Qaida just looks to be terrorists.

  • That makes the Fighting Hezbollah’s #3 on the perfect storm checklist.

  • Next up---Venezuela. They are kind of opportunists in this perfect storm scenario---they will see the tide starting to turn against the US, and decide they want a part of the action.

  • They’ll shut down the oil spickets and say something like ‘ohhhh, darn... looks like we have some rust on the US pipelines... we’re going to have to shut them down…so sorry’

  • That’s #4 on the Perfect Storm checklist..

  • And coming in at #5, it’s our very own borders. It’s the easiest route for terrorists to come on in and start wreaking havoc on us.

  • But beyond that is how the culture of immigration has changed. It used to be that if you came here, legally or illegally, you wanted to be American. You loved the idea of America, and you ‘melted in’ so to speak.

  • Now? It’s different. We are being invaded culturally—how? The people coming in here are just using us like a dirty rag---they don’t want to be American—they just want to make a quick buck and head back ‘home’.

  • This needs to stop or we will end up like <gulp> France..

  • In France it’s not French Muslims---it’s just Islam in France…

  • So there’s a quick ‘Perfect Storm’ checklist of things that need to happen before all hell breaks loose on Earth..

  • Now, remember---it’s a ‘perfect storm’—If we don’t step up and do something about it---if we don’t start raising our voices about the truth—then we can’t complain when the world is on fire…
