The business of Bills Khakis was founded as a means to preserve a small piece of Americana and to perpetuate an ideal. In the process, the people who work here realize productive careers while supporting their families!

We live this dream every day, but this dream wasn’t really ours to begin with. Truthfully, we are the beneficiaries of the courage and sacrifice of our forefathers. It is their dream we honor by pursuing those things which make us happy and fulfilled as individuals.

Along with the freedom to indulge ourselves in our own aspirations, we also inherit the profound responsibility to protect and promote any individual’s right to do the same, if they so choose. This is the ideal we call the American way.

The existence of the United States is history’s grand experiment. Let’s get all the world’s people together under one roof, regardless of their race, creed or color, and see if they can make it a home. If it works, then maybe this idea of people who govern and provide for themselves has some merit.

Let there be no doubt about it, history’s grand experiment has worked. The United States has found itself the leader of the free world, not because we wanted to, but because we accepted the role while coming to the aid of others. We have never looked to force our beliefs or govern others. Ours is about forcing humanity on those who plot harm against individuals seeking lives that differ from their own. In a word, our enemy is intolerance. We must exercise our power humbly, respectfully, patiently, and decisively.

So when the call came to Bills Khakis to support Glenn Beck’s Rally for America, there was no decision to make. We saw the Rally as an opportunity to exercise our responsibility as Americans.
