Terrorists target Army Base
in AZ
It sounds like a plot line from
a bad 1990's Arnold
Schwarzeneggar movie, but
unfortunately it's true. With
the help of Mexican drug cartels
60 Afghan and Iraqi terrorists
were to be smuggled into the
U.S. through underground tunnels
with high-powered weapons to
attack the Arizona Army base.
Sara Carter's story
in the Washington Times
says that some of the terrorists
are on U.S. soil while some of
the group are not. The most
ironic part of the story? The
terrorists are being smuggled
across the border into (drum
roll please) Laredo, Texas! If
that name doesn't ring a bell
it's the town that Glenn has
been shining a spotlight on
recently because of the 70
kidnappings that have happened
in Laredo and Nuevo Laredo,
Mexico just across the border.
Drug cartels are taking
Americans and giving them as
gifts. By the way Glenn was
chastised by the Mayor of Laredo
for talking about the town
'negatively' and the Mayor
seemed more concerned with
protecting feelings than
protecting the border.

During his 'Inconvenient Book
Tour' this weekend, Glenn shook
hands with about 7,000 people,
and said that these people 'get
it' when it comes to the Perfect
Storm. What's the Perfect Storm
that Glenn has been harping on
for months now? The Perfect
Storm is his theory that America
is headed for some real
trouble---with many separate,
seemingly unconnected events all
happening at the same time and
combining to work against
America and her interests. Glenn
likens the situation to America
being in a really bad horror
movie, where everyone in the
audience is yelling 'he's in the
room!'---yet the dopes in D.C.
still walk in to the room. Glenn
gives a few examples of them
'walking in'.

Rough Ride
The seeds of discontent are
growing here in America, as
evidenced by a freaky dude in
Dylan Klebold type attire who
told Glenn 'we will kill all the
traitors' during one of his book
signings. Glenn was freaked
because he wasn't sure (although
he strongly suspected) that
he was the traitor this nut
was talking about. This is an
extreme example, but it's
indicative of what is happening
to our political process in that
the extremes of our two main
parties are so focused on
dividing us and urging one side
to hate the other, and it's
working. Polar political
opposites can't have civil
conversations anymore, instead
we've been trained to vilify
'stupid liberals' and 'evil
conservatives'. Glenn shows how
can we help Washington get a
grip and stop the pandering to
the extreme activist groups, and
hopefully return this nation
back to a civil, productive,
honest debate.
